20.2 % of graduates (66) who have failed in the entrance
exam to the college of their choice attend preparatory schools and at home for a
year or sometimes even several years.
Only 4 graduates work as a public
officer.
13 @FEATURES of OUR SCHOOL
- Our school was founded in 1893.
- 21,826 people ( as of March 2000 )have already graduated from
our school.
- Our school has been producing a great many distinguished
people in many fields, especially in education, politics, business, medicine,
etc.
- Minister of Education, Science and Culture, 3 members of the
House of Representatives, and a member of Councilors(the upper House) and its
ex-vice president, former mayor of Hachinohe City, and nearly 100 college
professors innumerable doctors are graduates of our school.
- Many junior high school students in Hachinohe City and
neighboring towns and villages are anxious to enter our school because it is
one of the most prestigious high schools in Aomori Prefecture.
- The top-scoring boys and girls are admitted to our
school.
- Students have to study very hard for several hours every day
and even summer & winter vacation at home or boarding house (about 40 boys
and girls living apart from their families) and take an active part in club
activities after school.
- There are so many club activities (sports, cultural and
scientific activities )including student council activities, Almost 100% of
them hope to go on to college and university after
graduation.
